Land a Job in Tech

Our UX Design program covers how to create a user-centric design that delivers the experience users want. You’ll research and create websites and applications with the guidance of industry practitioners. You’ll also learn the tangible and intangible aspects of design, why they matter, and how to properly use them. Our UX Design program is ideal for creative professionals needing technical skills to grow in their careers.

  • Get Design Skills
    Get Design Skills

You’ll take part in a project-based curriculum with enough time to absorb the material and get hands-on practice applying it. You’ll learn to think and speak like a design expert, translating ideas, research, and user testing into functional, aesthetically-pleasing websites and web applications.

As a Kenzie grad, you’ll leave with a varied portfolio of projects to showcase your skills in UX Design for future employers.

  • Get Soft Skills
    Get Soft Skills

Your education shouldn’t just teach you how to do the job — it should also cover how to get the job. Our Student Services and Placement teams will give you job search, resume building, and interviewing skills while supporting you through the program. You’ll graduate as a well-rounded, marketable job candidate.

Whether online or on campus, you’ll always be connected to your instructors and classmates as part of our community — the Kenzie Fam. Online students enjoy the same collaboration and instructor guidance as students on campus.

  • Get the Job
    Get the Job

The skills you gain at Kenzie will enable you to apply for job titles like Web Designer, UX/UI Designers, and Mobile App Designer — positions CNN has listed in the Top 100 careers in the U.S.

The current average salary of all Kenzie graduates is $57k, and the majority of our students land a job offer within 6 months of graduation. Our Placement team will guide you throughout your job search, and our national network of employer partners assists with job placement in addition to guiding our curriculum.

of UX & UI

UX stands for user experience, and UI stands for user interface. UI is a subset of UX. Sound confusing? Don’t worry — we’ll teach you how to solve problems and speak like a designer.

You’ll get the experience and knowledge to stand out on web design projects.

design work

You’ll take on projects in an environment mimicking a start-up, and your work will be aimed at solving real-world problems. These projects will help build your portfolio, which will be instrumental to your job and career growth.

You’ll bring your ideas to life by learning design processes, forming a research plan, and building wireframes and prototypes.

How to be a
team player

Throughout the program, you’ll work in teams to achieve your goals. Kenzie provides a classroom environment that closely resembles a real-world, collaborative experience. Employers like to see how you perform on a team, so you’ll graduate with plenty of practice doing so.

It’s a big part of what sets Kenzie Academy apart from other UX Design schools and bootcamps. Our students graduate with both technical and soft skills, which means they enter the industry as well-rounded, marketable job candidates.
