Product Manager

Kenzie Academy is looking for a Product Manager to join our fast-growing, Indianapolis-based startup that’s reimagining education. You will be a leader shaping the future of this company, with product management responsibilities of Kenzie Academy, our tech education training program.

Kenzie Academy, a tech apprenticeship program that develops modern tech workers, reimagines higher education, combining training in the latest tech skills, real-world work experience, and mentorship from industry experts. Kenzie offers courses in coding and computer science, paired with paid apprenticeships, closing the gap between school and employment.

About the Role

This is a new role at Kenzie Academy. You will be a senior leader in helping our company hit key growth and performance milestones.

Location: Indiana or remote with lots of travel

Responsibilities includes:

  • Product planning and execution throughout the product life cycle.

  • Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.

  • Working closely with engineering, sales, marketing and wider team to ensure business case and goals are met.

  • Gather, manage, and prioritize market/customer requirements.

  • Act as the customer advocate articulating the user’s and/or buyer’s needs.

  • Act as the product’s leader within the company.

  • Develops the business case for new products, improvements to existing products, and business ventures.

  • Develop positioning for the product.

  • Recommend or contributes information in setting product positioning and strategy.
