Marketing Manager

Indianapolis-based startup that’s reimagining education. You will create grassroots and digital marketing campaigns to drive student recruitment for Kenzie Academy and increase brand awareness about Kenzie Academy in Indiana.

Kenzie Academy, a tech apprenticeship program that develops modern tech workers, reimagines higher education, combining training in the latest tech skills, real-world work experience, and mentorship from industry experts. Kenzie offers courses in coding and computer science, paired with paid apprenticeships, closing the gap between school and employment.


What We're Looking For

  • Passion for our Mission: To equip people from Middle America with the necessary skills, experience, and access needed to build successful careers in tech. 

  • Minimum 3-5 years professional content marketing experience. 

  • Experience creating content for technical products/solutions. 

  • Must be able to adopt the Kenzie brand voice and writing style. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
     High attention to detail and strong work ethic. 

  • Creativity! 

About the Role

You will ensure all work related to any proposed or launched partnership is created and delivered on time to external and internal constituents.

Responsibilities include:

  • Content Calendar: You will own management and execution of Kenzie’s content calendar.

  • Asset Creation: Create new core assets on an ongoing basis (3-4 per month) including white papers, product and company videos, customer case studies, and more.

  • Asset Adaption: Adapt and repurpose core assets for use across multiple channels/venues.

  • Blog: Launch & own the Kenzie blog, including posting to the blog 2x/week minimum and facilitating posts by various internal and external contributors.

  • Events: Help plan, market, and execute events that get external stakeholders into the Kenzie space.

  • Execution: Balance and execute multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Brand: Ensure Kenzie’s standards for quality and brand alignment/compliance are met on all projects.

  • Work cross-functionally with other internal stakeholders, executives, customers, and partners to create compelling content and complete other value-add initiatives that arise.
