Digital Marketing Specialist
Kenzie Academy is looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to join our fast-growing, Indianapolis-based startup that’s reimagining education. You will work with the Director of Growth Marketing and marketing team to develop, implement, and analyze the Kenzie digital marketing strategy for Kenzie’s online programs.

Kenzie Academy, a tech apprenticeship program that develops modern tech workers, reimagines higher education, combining training in the latest tech skills, real-world work experience, and mentorship from industry experts. Kenzie offers courses in coding and computer science, paired with paid apprenticeships, closing the gap between school and employment.
What We're Looking For
1-3 years running successful Google or Facebook ad campaigns.
3-5 years digital marketing experience including but not limited to: analytics, email, social, SEO, SEM.
You understand how to create acquisition strategies that align with the marketing funnel.
Excellent project management skills.
Accountable and takes ownership.
You have managed a minimum of a $300k annual marketing budget.
Strong, data-centric analytical skills.
Excellent (and clever) written and verbal communication skills.
Google AdWords or Facebook Blueprint Certifications are a bonus.
Ability to work independently in a startup environment. Must be able to prioritize and perform multiple tasks effectively and concurrently.

Experience with at least some of our marketing stack. We use MailChimp and Drip for email marketing; Sprout Social for social media management; Google Analytics and Wicked Reports for reporting; Canva for graphic design; Squarespace as our CMS. You don’t have to be an expert, but being a quick study is necessary.

About the Role
Students are the lifeblood of Kenzie, and we are looking to expand our digital footprint in key markets across the U.S. and potentially the world. That’s why we need a digital marketing guru eager to develop, implement and analyze strategies designed to increase applications for our online programs. This role will require a deep understanding of full-funnel marketing strategy, paid, analytics, and the ability to conduct market research.
Provide operational planning and execution for demand and lead generation campaigns including complex nurture tracks, campaign performance tracking, and business rules that drive content, triggers, audience segmentation and channel cadence.
Manage and optimize our paid media accounts. We advertise on Facebook, AdWords, YouTube and Instagram. Will also be exploring new channels.
Assist in creating and implementing ad copy and creative, campaign builds, and daily bid management.
Design end-to-end marketing strategies. You will own the funnel from lead generation/nurturing strategies through lead scoring.
Ensure landing page tests are running effectively.
Run A/B Test campaigns.
Day to day optimization for landing page design and write copy that converts.
Measure performance against key KPIs and ROI of paid digital campaigns and recommend future fact-based optimization opportunities.
