About Kenzie Academy: Kenzie Academy, a tech apprenticeship program that develops modern tech workers, reimagines higher education, combining training in the latest tech skills, real-world work experience, and mentorship from industry experts. Kenzie offers courses in coding and computer science, paired with paid apprenticeships, closing the gap between school and employment.

About the Role: You will perform a variety of administrative tasks. This is a critical role to ensure Kenzie’s success! Multiple team members will be relying on you.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Scheduling & Meeting Coordination: You will manage meetings, tours, and visits that happen on the Kenzie campus.

  • Campus Support: Support campus operations to ensure Kenize students, staff, and guests are having the best possible experience while they’re in our space! This could include buying supplies, setting up the space for special events, welcoming guests to the space, and much more!!

  • Student Support: You will be a reliable figure students can turn to when they have questions about registration and non-academic questions or concerns about the campus, for example being the point person student complaints about the physical space (ie problem with refrigerator, furniture, etc), being a friend who always says hello and checks in how students are doing.

  • Building Maintenance: You will assist with the general upkeep and functionality of the Kenzie space. This could include hanging whiteboards, moving furniture, disposing of piles of boxes or tidying up the space for an Open House. You will also be the point of contact for the building maintenance man for any issues such as leaky faucet, etc.

  • Operations Support: You will support the operations team with tasks such as running to the bank or post office, or other tasks that must be completed to ensure company success!

  • Love of People & a Brand Ambassador: You’ll be a representative of Kenzie to students, employer partners, guests, and more. You need to love interacting with people and consistently act as a brand ambassador of Kenzie Academy in every internal and external interaction you have.

  • Self-Starter: At Kenzie, we move fast. You’ll need to be able to dive in and figure out what needs to get done.

  • Scheduling Experience: You’ve managed the calendar of a busy executive

  • Attention to Detail: You don’t let ANYTHING fall through the cracks and notice tiny mistakes or errors

  • No-Task-Beneath You Mentality: Willingness to do anything necessary to get the job done.

  • Easygoing, Flexible, and a Team Player: You need to willing to persevere through tough situations, be resilient, be flexible when things don’t go according to plan, and be willing to work closely with any member of the Kenzie team to get something done.  


Bonus Skills:

  • Experience in marketing or recruiting.
