Kenzie Academy offers a full-time Software Engineering program and a part-time UX Design Career program, both built to prepare you for a career in tech and tech-adjacent industries. A Kenzie education puts you ahead of the competition as you learn soft skills, technical skills, and get connected with industry professionals.
Our curriculum is focused on the needs of the industry, so you’re not only learning to solve the problems of today but tomorrow’s as well. You will receive an education guided by some of the biggest names in tech and created to lead you to the career you deserve.

At Kenzie, you’re not just filling a seat. We do our best to support each and every student as they go through our programs. We work to make you feel valued as a Kenzie student, from the specialized admissions process to learning from Instructors and Facilitators to regular meetings with our Student Services team. The Student Services team also works with Kenzie employer partners to connect you to open jobs in Milwaukee and the surrounding areas, so you can launch your career.

Software Engineering Program Quick Facts
- Program Length: 9 months
- Program Hours: 9 a.m. – 3 p.m., Monday to Friday Eastern (some cohorts are available 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Pacific)
- Program Location: Online anywhere in the U.S. or on-campus in Downtown Indianapolis*

UX Design Career Program Quick Facts
- Program Length: 6 months
- Program Hours: 6 p.m. – 10 p.m. Eastern, for 2 weekdays per week (Monday + Wednesday OR Tuesday + Thursday) and 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. Eastern, for 9 Saturdays.
- Program Location: Online anywhere in the U.S. or on-campus in Downtown Indianapolis*

Our Programs
Full-Time
Our Software Engineering program covers Front-End and Back-End web development. As a student, you’ll master our full-stack engineering curriculum with the guidance of industry practitioners — professionals with real experience to offer, not just theory.

Part-Time
Our User Experience (UX) Design program is built for working professionals. This part-time program will give you the education needed to become a UX Designer and solve real-world problems.

Get Tech Skills
You’ll take part in a project-based curriculum with enough time to absorb the material and get hands-on practice applying it. With the Software Engineering program, you’ll learn various programming languages like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, Django, and SQL. We’ll also teach you how to learn new languages, so you can stay ahead of the curve as a marketable job candidate throughout your career.
As a grad, you’ll earn your certification backed by Kenzie and Butler University as well as a varied portfolio of projects showcasing your skills.

Your education shouldn’t just teach you how to do the job — it should also cover how to get the job. Our Student Services and Placement teams will give you job search, resume building, and interviewing skills while supporting you through the program. You’ll graduate as a well-rounded, marketable job candidate.
