There’s no doubt about it — UX Designers are in demand (and for good reason). These professionals shape the way we interact with our technology and ensure people have positive experiences with websites, apps, products, and services. UX Designers use empathy, creativity, and analytical thinking skills to create thoughtful, user-driven interfaces.
According to ZipRecruiter, salaries for entry-level UX Designers typically start between $60,000 and $112,500 in the U.S. These numbers vary across locations and companies.
If you’re still exploring the world of digital design, check out these skills every digital designer needs to see if it’s the right career path for you.
If UX Design sounds like a career you’d want to pursue, Kenzie Academy’s part-time UX Design Career program could be perfect for you! We’ve crafted a 6-month program with career-changers and working professionals in mind. Within just 6 months, you’ll become a confident designer who can translate user research and ideas into functional, beautiful websites and apps. All you need is 1 year of professional experience in any industry or a college degree to apply.
At Kenzie, we aim to make tech careers accessible to everyone, no matter their location, background, previous education, or current income level. We believe everyone deserves a shot at success in tech and the chance to level up their lives.
While our part-time UX Design Career program is one of the most affordable programs of its kind on the market, we realize not everyone can afford to pay tuition up front. So we’re pumped to announce we’ve partnered with Skills Fund to make our programs even more accessible.
Skills Fund’s mission is to help students transform their futures, and they exclusively partner with schools that are successful in creating great outcomes for their students. If you sign up for the UX Design Career program, you may be eligible to receive a Skills Fund loan to cover the cost of your Kenzie education. Currently, we’re offering 36 and 60-month loans with monthly payments ranging from $62 to $400 (depending on your interest rate and preferred repayment option). You can borrow anywhere from $2,000 up to $10,900 to cover part or all of the cost of the UX Design Career program, and you have the option to make no payments while you study and for up to 3 months after graduation. See below for a loan example:
